February 2-4 | Traverse City Comedy Fest | Traverse CityÂ
Traverse City Comedy Fest kicks off this weekend, featuring more than 40 comedians and over 20 shows–including national headliners and local and state favorites. This highly-anticipated festival is quickly selling out, but there are plenty of tickets still available!
February 3 | Singer-Songwriter & Popular Music Ensemble | Traverse City
Interlochen Arts Academy’s Popular Music Ensemble teams up with the singer-songwriter majors to share a selection of original songs at Traverse City’s City Opera House.

February 3-4 | Snowmobile Festival & Fun Run | GaylordÂ
Get outside this weekend with the Michigan Snowmobile Festival and Michigan’s Richest Snowmobile Fun Run. Maps with highlighted locations will be handed out at registration, along with slips to turn in at each stop. Snowmobilers do not have to start at the same time or follow the same route, just enjoy the fun along the way.Â
February 4 | International 500 | Sault Ste. Marie
The International 500 Snowmobile Race is not just Michigan’s most thrilling experience for riders and motorsport fans, it’s North America’s. Since 1969, hundreds of thousands of winter enthusiasts have journeyed to Sault Ste. Marie to enjoy the frozen, snowy spectacle of the I-500. The festivities will take place all day Saturday.
February 4-5 | Dog Sledding | GaylordÂ
Mush! Join Liza Dietzen and her team of dogs from Evergreen Kennel for an epic dog sledding adventure at Treetops Resort. The trip begins on the snow-covered trails of the Jones Masterpiece Golf Course and dashes through the resort’s majestic hills. This event sells quickly, so reserve a spot as soon as you can!
February 4 | Winter Wine Walk | GaylordÂ
This winter walk has a fabulous perk, wine-tasting along a scenic trail. Otsego Resort invites attendees to hike, snowshoe or cross-country ski (weather depending) along the cedar forest, stopping at three stations along the way. You’ll even end at a roaring bonfire to warm up before you head back.

February 4 | White Pine Stampede | MancelonaÂ
Hundreds will compete in Michigan’s longest and oldest point-to-point cross-country ski race this weekend. The White Pine Stampede stretches over the hills and through the woods of Antrim County, also raising funds for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan and a scholarship for a graduating Mancelona senior. Take on professionally groomed trails, winding through the most picturesque landscape of Northwestern Lower Michigan, ending at Shanty Creek Resort.

This festival is certainly not like the others! Charlevoix’s Ground Hog Shadowfest celebrates the best of winter with numerous outdoor activities including a soup contest, trivia, cocktail contest, live music, winter activities and much more in downtown Charlevoix (noon to 6 p.m.).
