The Icy Shores of Point Betsie Lighthouse
“Betsie, the ice queen winter chronicles….part two! On Sunday I spent the day doing what I love doing most…hopping in the car and hitting the road northbound, for a day of wintering adventures! I have been taking full advantage of (and loving) the winter wonderland in Michigan, and really wanted to take extra advantage of it before the warmer weather (and rain!) set in this week…and most especially had my sights on another trip to Point Betsie! I sure am glad I ventured back there, and what a dreamy scene it was! Though bitterly cold (and windy!), it was absolutely beautiful! Here is what I captured. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did capturing it!”
Sunset at the Mackinac Bridge
“A slow burner last night for sure! 🔥 Had to go back out for round two! 💕 We had a cool fog bank hovering around the bridge to add to the atmosphere.”
An Icy IroquoisÂ
“I’ve never seen the Iroquois look quite like this!”
Sunny, Snowy, Beautiful Frankfort
“Ice, Ice Baby… During the winter months here along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, the landscape is transformed into a breathtaking, magical wonderland of ice, covering everything the water splashes. And- just look at that water! It’s a beautiful sight to see.”
