The annual Dune Dash four-mile run/walk returns, taking participants along the scenic Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail, located in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Starting and finishing at the base of the Dune Climb, runners and walkers follow the paved trail past rolling dunes and lush forests to the turnaround point at historic Glen Haven.
