Today to October 31 | Asylum After Dark | Traverse City
Take a step back in time and experience a night at the former Northern Michigan Asylum in the Commons. Explore one of the most popular cottages from attic to basement as stories from the historic past are told in the dim light of your flashlights. Keep it handy, as this 90-minute tour ends with a walk through the 1885 steam tunnels.

Visit the Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds for Screams in the Dark events, including the Hayride & Haunted Trail, Grimfell Asylum, Pandemonium and Swamp Of Suffering on Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October.

Today to October 31 | Decorate a Skeleton | Harbor Springs
Get the Skeletons out of your closet! Businesses and residents in Harbor Springs may purchase and decorate a skeleton for display, complete with a map location, advertising and voting on your favorites before the month is over. harborspringschamber.com

Today to October 31 | Boyer Glassworks Glass-Blown Pumpkins | Harbor Springs
This Northern Michigan annual event is a colorful gathering of hundreds of hand-blown glass pumpkins by artists Harry Boyer and Lynn Dinning. Visit the patch outside Boyer Glassworks in downtown Harbor Springs or the garden at Three Pines Studios, Cross Village, for a spectacular display.

Today to October 31 | Family Fun at Pahl’s | Buckley
Pahl’s Pumpkin Patch in Buckley provides fun for the whole family! Choose your own pumpkins from the u-pick patch, sit back while the children enjoy exciting rides, and end your perfect fall trip with homemade cider, donuts, and other delicious treats from the country store. They also sell squash, gourds, straw, and corn stalk bundles for you to take home.

October 27 to 29 | Imagine It! | Interlochen
IMAGINE IT!, which had its debut at Interlochen Center for the Arts in the summer of 2022, will be presented for the second time ever by the Leland Theatre program. October 28 to 30 | Fall at the Grand | Mackinac Island
Experience fall on Mackinac Island and enjoy all the frightening activities and ghoulish excitement Grand Hotel offers for the whole family. Enjoy scary movies, haunted afternoon tea and a Hotel Ball & Costume Contest to round out the holiday weekend.

October 28 to December 31 | 2022 Northern Home & Cottage Virtual Home Tours
8 homes. 8 stories. Get a look inside some of Northern Michigan’s most unique and stunning homes during this year’s virtual home tours. October 29 | TC Zombie Run | Traverse City

October 30 | Movie Matinee @ The Pine! | Curtis
